Gamlingay Village College is part of the South Cambridgeshire’s School Sports Partnership. The Partnership aims to give every young person their sporting chance by developing high quality Physical Education and school sport for all young people. The skill of leadership is encouraged and all year 7s are given the opportunity to train as a Young Leader to help with sporting clubs and festivals with pupils from Gamlingay First School. In year 8, some of the Young Leaders are then invited to join the South Cambs School Sports Partnership Leadership Academy based at Comberton Village College to pursue their training further with children from other schools.
